Apocalyptica: Exploring Macrophotography and 3D Art (Part 1)
Using close-up, macrophotography techniques helps me to visualise alien landscapes and exotic properties that are very much rooted in the natural world.

Whether over the course of minutes or millenia there is constant change within natural materials and objects through the forces of gravity, physics and chemistry. Visualising this invisible motion as animation within a 3D art context was an insightful workflow to get stuck into.

For this first part of the project, I wanted to focus on natural palettes mainly. The use of colour here is intended as a sort of corruptive concept of change and modernity, inflicted by human civilisation and unethical science.
Below are some experiments into translating the concept into some title sequences.
Thank you!
